AboutAbout Us

John and Kim Eoff –
We have been avid boaters for over 15 years.  As with most boaters, our affliction began while boating with friends, and before we knew it, we were the proud owners of our first boat, a 20-foot ski boat! As our passion for boating grew, so did the size of our boats.  John has now found himself at the helm of our 37-foot power-cruiser “LickitySplit” (so aptly named for the manner in which we purchased it). We bought our latest boat so that it could accommodate John’s 6’4” frame.  To date, we have had the pleasure of captaining houseboats, fishing boats, pontoon boats, ski boats and sailboats (that is, if you don’t mind a one way trip! John has no problem getting the sailboat pointed in one direction, but it the return trip he has yet to master).

We have been lucky enough to spend a week on Lake Powell every other year, as well as the numerous other lakes in Arizona.  The LickitySplit “lives” at Bartlett Lake where we have been marina members since 2005.  Our other boating adventures include Costa Rica, Bahamas, California (from Catalina Island to San Diego harbor), Nevada, and Hawaii.

We boat year-round (in fair, and not-so-fair weather) and figure we spend about 1/3 of our year actually on the water.  Our love of boating definitely does not end at the end of the season.

We are current members of BoatUS and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Where are we headed next?  That all depends on who wants to join us and where you want to go!
